Welcome to Mrs. Johnson's Music Page

         

Students in grades K-3 will have music once every 6 days,

for a 40 minute period.

Kindergarten will have MUSIC ENRICHMENT this year.

Collaboration between reading words and music will be one of the highlights.

Music activities include

singing, dancing, playing xylophones and rhythm instruments, 

playing the Yamaha Keyboards, listening to  and evaluating music,

composing songs, making instruments, and learning notation.

  

The Share Bears by Teresa Jennings

to be performed by all Grade 2 students at Forest Ave.  

OUR DEEPEST THANKS TO   MR. ALAN SHAWN FEINSTEIN,

WHO FUNDED THE SHARE BEARS MUSICAL.

All Grade 2 students will perform in the musical.

THE SHARE BEARS, in early January, ON THE STAGE AT FOREST AVE.

BRAVO PERFORMANCE... Now being shown on COX CABLE CHANNEL 18!!

 

MARCH IS MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS MONTH!

Each grade will sing a song, recorders will play, the newly formed grade 3 handbells will play, and a special surprise performance~ 

  CELEBRATE RECORDER RECITAL

March ~  Forest Ave. Cafeteria  ~ White tops, dark PANTS OR SKIRTS.

The Forest Ave. PTG has generously donated the refreshments for

this exciting evening.  Don't forget to bring recorders.

in Mrs. O'Neil and Mrs. Ceglarski/Silvia's Classes.
