Grade 3 will learn to play RECORDERS this year. Students will be offered discounted plastic BAROQUE fingering  recorders and books to buy for $6.00. If they decide NOT to purchase them, school recorders are available to use in the music room only. They are sterilized after each use.

The RHODE ISLAND PHILHARMONIC ENSEMBLE will be performing in October, presenting a program about recorders and their history to Grade 3 students. This is being funded by a generous grant from UP WITH SCHOOL ARTS FOUNDATION out of Little Compton.

Thanks to Mrs. Birdie Edwards, founder of Up With School Arts,  for making this grant possible.
